Why don't you just call him a liar, and be done with it?
There is a big world out there, JM, you haven't seen half of it, nor have I, but we all have some experiences that others do not.
Jesus said in John 3:17, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

I said UP TO. I actually think the highest value was about US$4.5 as a single bond. I will not go into details, but it was payments between large companies and other organisations. The vast majority of payments went by the normal routes, but in those days, 20 years ago, there was not the ability to do the electronic transfers as we have today in the way they are today.

Not far fetched, and to be honest it was rare I carried either, but in 5 years I probably did it about two to three dozen times...so not exactly part of my everyday brief..and not something I was overtly happy about...especially as I was salaried and didn't exactly get paid extra for it.

You can believe what you want a the end of the day Jaques, but there is a vast world outside your window and all you have to do is step outside your box. I have been fortunate enough (or not depending on perspective) to see a lot of things, do many various things and truly experience life in many shapes and forms...but even I have only just touched the surface. I know a few people who make my life look boring and uneventful...and if you knew my life..that would scare you...especially if you met and knew these people. A little clue, one spent 17 years in the Royal Green Jackets (Now the Rifles) and another was 15 years Foreign Legion (I never asked why he joined as it never really seemed the "right moment"). They now have jobs that requires international travel and brushing shoulders with the rich..perhaps occasionally the famous. Not a job for me and no I have never done it...but they have eventful lives...
We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender. They will not Force us, they will stop degrading us, they will not control us, we will be victorious
